The cost of energy for any veneer making or plywood making plant is a significant component of the cost of doing business. It is therefore important for any plant to implement effective measures that will help to control its energy consumption in the veneer drying process. Shine machinery invented the biomass burner(wood-fired burner) for wood veneer drying machines which can use all kinds of waste wood as the fuel. It greatly reduces the fuel cost mostly for veneer drying mills. The veneer dryer runs with no steam boiler or thermal oil heater and eliminates heat loss by directly heating air rather than indirect heating of oil or water. The composite of veneer roller dryer is only about USD $10 per cubic meter.
