Facing the booming demand for wooden construction materials and furniture materials in the North American market, local wood processing enterprises are urgently upgrading automated and high-efficiency production equipment. This industrial-grade wood veneer dryer optimizes the internal air duct layout and adopts upper and lower bidirectional hot air supply technology, which can quickly and evenly remove internal moisture from high-humidity raw veneers. Compared with single-layer traditional equipment, this wood veneer dryer greatly improves single-batch processing volume and shortens the overall drying cycle, perfectly adapting to the customer’s 24-hour continuous production mode.
In terms of energy-saving and intelligent management, the upgraded wood dryer integrates a waste heat recovery system and frequency conversion speed regulation technology. It automatically adjusts heating power and conveyor operating speed according to feeding volume and raw material humidity, avoiding long-term high-power idle operation and effectively reducing factory energy consumption. At the same time, the fully automated feeding and discharging design reduces manual operation errors, further improving the overall yield of veneer products.
After the new wood veneer dryer was fully put into production, the enterprise’s daily veneer drying output increased by 42%, completely solving the previous capacity shortage problem.
