A large local integrated wood processing enterprise focusing on rubber wood and eucalyptus veneer production has recently completed the commissioning and official operation of a multi-layer high-capacity wood veneer dryer production line, completely upgrading its original backward drying process and greatly improving export product competitiveness. Before the equipment upgrade, the enterprise adopted traditional single-layer drying machine units with limited processing capacity. This upgraded wood veneer dryer abandons the traditional single hot air blowing mode and adopts a three-dimensional circulating hot air system, which makes the hot air cover every corner of the drying chamber evenly. It greatly improves the contact efficiency between hot air and veneer sheets, realizing rapid and uniform dehumidification for high-moisture rubber wood and eucalyptus veneers. Different from ordinary drying machine equipment, this wood veneer dryer is equipped with an automatic constant humidity dehumidification device, which can actively discharge excess water vapor in the chamber to prevent secondary moisture absorption of veneers.
In terms of intelligent operation and energy saving, the new-generation wood dryer realizes fully automatic feeding, drying parameter adjustment, constant temperature maintenance, and discharging. The system can store multiple sets of parameter templates for different wood species and veneer thicknesses, enabling one-click switching of production modes and greatly reducing the technical requirements for operators. The built-in frequency conversion energy-saving motor and waste heat recovery module effectively reduce invalid energy consumption, achieving higher output with lower power consumption compared with traditional equipment.
After official operation, the actual production data of the factory shows that the daily drying capacity of the new wood veneer dryer increased by 45% compared with the original equipment, fully meeting the growing demand for overseas export orders. The one-time qualified rate of veneer products increased to 98%, and the problem of rainy season mold and moisture regain was completely eliminated. The optimized drying machine operation process also reduced manual maintenance and sorting costs, bringing stable and considerable profit growth to the enterprise.
